OUR MISSION

 The West Futures Basketball mission is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer our youth the opportunity to learn the skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as discipline, respect, character, teamwork and sportsmanship.

WF PHILOSOPHY

WF Basketball philosophy is to provide youth the opportunity to develop their skills, learn life lessons and enjoy the game. Opportunities are available to recreational and competitive players to enhance their skills.

OVERVIEW OF WF

West Futures Basketball offers a program for Franklin Middle School students as well as the elementary feeder schools. West Futures is a standalone organization with strong ties to West High School’s Basketball program.  All spending requires a vote of approval from the program director, coaches and board members. This ensures appropriate spending of funds.

The Futures program offers players a higher level of competition while developing skills. Player development, discipline and team oriented attitude are stressed. Practice time, training, and advanced teachings are provided to sharpen the skills of each player with the goal and vision of having every player ready to play at the high school level.
